The US India Investment Seminar and Business Expo, organized by the not-for-profit USABF and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in association with the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles and the US Department of Commerce was the biggest ever such event in the US.
The event had the support of many officials, including Senator John Kerry, Mayor Antonio Villariagosa, Lt. Governor of Los Angeles Cruz M. Bustamante, Hon. Minister of State of the Ministry of Food Processing, Government of India Subodh Kant Sahai, Hon Minister for Tourism, Sports & Youth Welfare of Madhya Pradesh (India), Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Indian Ambassador to US Ronen Sen, FICCI President Saroj K Poddar, FICCI Secretary General Amit Mitra and other high ranking FICCI and Central Government officials.
